I decided to chase the light outside of academic strictures.

Traveling was important for my first attempts. Trying to seize any good opportunity to shoot, l traveled letting the world to provoke my senses to the point I had to release the shutter. I discovered street photography and learned that the capacity of a photograph to reveal emotions one can relate to inspires me the most. That led me to portraiture.

The whimsical life of natural light appeals to me more than

artificial light with its ability to be constrained as one pleases. The hectic life on the streets captures my imagination more than the sterile readiness of a photographic atelier. Like that it goes all the way through how I keep trying to understand photography.
